Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Expeditor join our first shift team. This position is based at our brand new El Paso, TX facility.

In this function you will:
  • Maintain open communication with internal customers and provide updates as needed.

  • Order the necessary materials required for production in accordance with the production plan

  • Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly

  • Release invoices on hold to avoid credit holds with suppliers

  • Execute MRP suggestions accordingly

  • Perform maintenance of the MRP system

  • Collaborate with other functions during the implementation of new material

  • Follow all Eaton Supply Chain Management policies accordingly

  • Perform other related activities as assigned

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience OR possess a completed degree in business or a related field

  • No relocation is provided for this position, only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:
  • Previous supply chain related experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Possess basic knowledge of electrical controls

  • Experience working with MAPICS systems, Inventory Transactions, and Kanban System.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain
