Logistics Associate

Job Description

  • To perform all system transactions for material movement into, out of and within the warehouse. The scope includes Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
  • To conduct physical inventory yearly or as needed with auditors and Finance  
  • To work with import agents and forwarders to ensure compliance to custom regulation for inbound shipment
  • To prepare documentation to comply with the custom regulation for import duty reduction as per FTA 
  • To adhere to the corporate process and be a gate keeper for vendor creation and maintenance 
  • To provide support for TISI certification process where necessary
  • To collaborate with Sales team for forecast (future add on task)  
  •  Any other tasks assigned by manager
  • To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
    • Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
    • Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
    • Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
    • Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
    • Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
    • Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Diploma in any field
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or procurement
  • Very proficient in operating SAP MM module
  • Intermediate or higher level in using Excel software
  • Basic knowledge in incoterm and shipping documentation
  • Good process understanding of inbound from overseas supplier to destination and outbound from either our warehouse or supplier (in case of drop shipment) to customer's destination
