Eaton’s Electrical Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist – 3rd Shift to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
The CNC Machinist is responsible for performing the tasks necessary to set up, operate, & machine quality parts on the turning machines.

Set-up & operate a variety of turn machines & equipment comprising of turret lathes, chuckers, automatic screw machines, etc. on a variety of shafts and castings, of various materials for standard product lines.
Select proper tooling to set speeds & feeds, and calibration.
Maintain tolerances & production standards.
Perform misc. duties & operate secondary equipment including but not limited to burr bench, cleaning operations, etc.
Assist QA/Engineering with problem solving for new product development.
Participate in Lean/VSM projects.
Train new operators on the process.
Acquire proficiency in all machines in the work center.
Make offsets both in manual & CNC machines to compensate for tool wear.
Download & edit programs from CIMNET system into the local memory of the machine(s).
Perform work from specifications, and/or communicated instructions.
Follow established working procedures.
Operator is responsible for own work, under minimal supervision and instructions.
Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Contribute suggestions for methods or product improvement.
Use and operate tools and equipment consistent with this job.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.

Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one (1) year of CNC machining experience and/or CNC Machining educational background.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.
No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the South Milwaukee, WI location. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Minimum of two (2) years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
Knowledge of machine set-up procedures.
Must be able to walk/stand for an eight-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
