As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will manage large aspects of the financial and accounting operation and activities of the Electrical Sales Organization in Sweden.

The position reports to Nordic Zone Controller and works closely with the finance team based in Espoo, Finland and shared corporate centers including Budapest and Pune.

Your key deliverables:

  • Provides the finance and accounting functions of Sweden Sales

  • Manages financial reporting, planning, analysis, internal controls, and balance sheets’ review processes

  • Works closely with finance colleagues across the Nordic Zone (countries including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland) and in particular the finance team based in Espoo, Finland who provides a local shared service support for the Zone

  • Works closely and cooperatively with Eaton Shared Service Centers, specifically those based in Budapest and Pune, India

  • Provides financial direction and support through a functional reporting organization, including the business unit leadership team, local management, and functional finance organization

  • Oversees and ensures robust internal control processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements as designed by Eaton

  • Analyzes significant variances in our working capital and operating results to ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting and initiates corrective actions as required

  • Assists improvements in processes when applicable through the implementation of new technology and/or improved procedures

  • Analyzes operating requirements for the business in view of projected market, business and economic trends

  • Oversights of the timely completion of the statutory accounts and income tax returns for all Swedish legal entities, and liaises with the auditors and external advisors as well as the Eaton indirect and direct tax CoE

  • Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement

  • Strong business understanding to support local sales organization in areas like purchasing, order management, business process flows, be a sparing partner for local management


What are we looking for?



  • Strong financial expertise, including US GAAP

  • Strong knowledge in Swedish local statutory accounting rules

  • Professional qualification(s) in Finance / Accounting

  • Minimum 3 years of experience

  • Knowledge in accounting systems

  • Fluent in Swedish and English

  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills; Able to communicate complex topics in an effective and concise manner

  • Willingness to travel (although limited, between the various Eaton Electrical Country locations, especially within the Nordic Zone)

  • Project Management skills

  • Customer Oriented Mentality

  • Good ERP skills (preferably Oracle or SAP)

  • Good data analysis skills with attention to detail

  • Experience in working in a matrix organisation with both direct and functional lines of reporting
