Eaton Hydraulics' Industrial sector is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on 1st shift to join our team. This position is based at our White City, OR.

In this function you will:
- Maintain organized tracking system for maintenance work orders (when received, date due, date completed, etc).
- Ensure quarterly TPM Inspections/Confirm daily sheets are being completed by operators. Research repair parts, maintenance manuals, and other maintenance information.
- Complete required preventative maintenance (fluids, belts, etc) and some machine maintenance as qualified.
- Contact& Coordinate work required with Supervisor and Contractors for repair of equipment. Follow and complete all required documentation and adhere to Environmental Health & Safety Policies.
- Position will also float between maintenance and assembly, testing, & shipping

Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent
Must have the equivalent of 1-year experience with mechanics and/or equipment maintenance
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of White City will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Experience in Manufacturing Environment
Specialized training or experience with manual machines, electrical competency, and/or rigging.
Ability to read and use blueprints.
Abilities in the use of micrometers, verniers, indicators, and other measuring instruments.
Ability to do basic research online
Mechanical ability to repair some basic equipment (as qualified).
Use computer programs to track and document repairs
