Production Technician

Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking located a Production Technician on 1st shift to join our team. The position is based at our Fontana, CA facility.

The Production Technician will perform a wide range of skilled assembly to produce a quality product in a timely manner. The production technician will assemble switchboards and panel boards.

In this function you will:
  • Follow blue print readings and wiring schematics to assemble the products
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble the products.
  • Inspect and testing the finished goods to maintain quality
  • Work with a dynamic team that prides itself on positive energy

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum one year of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing setting or completion of a vocational program (minimum of 9 months)
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Fontana, CA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Should be familiar with assembly drawings and written instructions
  • Basic computer skills with strong attention to detail. 
  • Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly (panelboards / switchboards preferred)
  • Experience in electrical equipment maintenance / installation
