We are looking forward to Manager, Learning and Culture, China & North Asia in Eaton’s corporate function, based in Shanghai, China. The role will foster a continuous learning environment through self-directed and targeted offerings that shape our culture and build enterprise capabilities aligned with Eaton’s Business Strategy. The role encompasses the deployment and implementation of global programs, the curation of content to meet emerging business needs, and the localization and creation of content that supports capability building of functions within the region.
Build organization capability across client groups through the management and deployment of global leadership programs such as First Time Manager, Mid-Level Leader, Coaching, Feedback and Empowerment and other Leader X initiatives.
Partner with business leaders and HR to support performance development within functions and businesses through curation of content, identification of vendor solutions and/or creation of unique content to address current and future capability and skill needs.
Leads projects by developing and managing project plans that are created in partnership with clients. Consult and partner with TMOE, HRBP, iERG’s and business leaders, providing expert advice and guidance on learning solutions.
Leads efforts to continuously build and enhance internal trainer capabilities to expand employee reach and learning offerings.
Manage vendor relationships for Eaton University for China/Nth Asia; establishing relationships with local representatives of global vendors and identifying most relevant, high impact and cost-effective local partnerships where necessary.
Monitor learning effectiveness of Eaton University programs; measure business impact of key programs; work on specific themes to enhance effectiveness. Effectively manage learning data and leverage resources like learning surveys, employee listening, LMS reports etc. to drive data-based decision making for Eaton University offerings.
Reinforce a continuous learning culture by leveraging technology, collaborating with stakeholders and external sources to ensure high impact learning experiences for employees.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in large multi-national manufacturing organizations with complex matrix structures. Minimum of 2 years of manager of people experience.
Proven success developing and designing OD and talent strategies that drive business results and performance.
Demonstrated experience developing people and coaching and influencing managers (at all levels).
Experience in the assessment, design, development, delivery and management of learning solutions in a corporate setting.
Soft skills Strong presentation and facilitation skills, Strong communication skills written and spoken, with capability to work in various cultural settings.
