Primary functions:


The role is to manage all International Business Development and Sales related functions for the Electrical Solutions and Services (ESS) division. The leader will control existing relationships with manufacturing partners and establish new partnerships in line with the strategy. In this role, the leader will be required to manage the relationship throughout the full value stream.


Essential functions:

  • Develop the route to market for all International Business opportunities for the Business Unit and establish a network of partners in line with the strategy for sales growth
  • Manage all major contracts International aligned with local Country Sales Organizations where applicable

  • Support the General Manager of Ankara in managing partner’s local equipment manufacturing by ensuring clear contract requirements and delivery process.

  • Work with other regions (e.g. APAC, LATAM) and the GPL to build a network of partners outside EMEA. Also, manage all Internal supply relationships (cross regional intercompany sales) to ensure we maximize the synergy opportunities internally

  • Establish the supply chain requirements / local delivery network for growing the short cycle business (e.g. transformers)

  • Work alongside the Integration Team to ensure a smooth transition from Integration to Run for all commercial process’s

  • Ensure a transparent and clear business model in all countries we operate in.




  • Minimum of Bachelor University degree, preferably business or engineering related complemented with an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • 10+ years management experience in sales and/or operations.  Proven track record of achieving business success

  • Experienced leader, with track record of managing large complex global organizations. M&A expertise a plus.

  • Successful development and execution of long and short-term strategies that lead to accelerated revenue growth in industrial and professional business segments, through analysis, market segmentation, effective NPD and product differentiation, acquisition targets, and the use of best practice tools to gain a deep understanding of the value propositions of both existing and new customers and markets.

  • Fluency in English

  • Strong Leadership skills to build a team across the regions.

  • Ability to manage through influence rather than position.

  • Stronger focus on Planning and Implementation

  • Broad Understanding of ESS products (helpful but not mandatory)

  • Able to work across Cultures

  • Ability to define and roll-out strategies for business processes and to work with both strategic and tactical issues simultaneously.

  • Self-motivated, accepts ownership for results, takes initiative

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and problem solve in an operating environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels in and outside the organization with demonstrable executive presence – board room quality - able to represent Eaton to senior managers externally and internally.

  • Credible and influencing leadership and strong work Ethics and standards

  • Comfortable with ongoing “change” environment, driven by both recent acquisition and rapidly evolving business strategy.

  • Ability to enhance or improve stated top-level objectives by effective direction and delegation

  • Intercultural awareness

  • Flexible to work across time zones.

  • Ability to travel extensively (80%)

  • Strong communications skills
