Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Manager-Supply Chain to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez facility.
The Manager-Supply Chain is responsible for This position is responsible for Managing key Supply Chain functions such as materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, SIOP, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing; manages and directs supply chain personnel in the procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels; is expected to train and educate direct reports on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Manages current and future demand requirements (Forecast) with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
Implements methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Manages plant purchasing activities for items procured on local basis in order to compliment centrally purchased items.
Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution.
Ensures correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (such as Mapics) to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances.
Manages material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.
Ensures quality of shipping documentation to meet corporate financial and customer audit requirements.
Devises and manages physical inventory audit methodology which meets corporate, governmental and customer specifications.
Evaluates operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
Coordinates with central Corporate Supply Chain Function to provide data and participate in teams in order to drive best practices across Eaton Corp.
Support compliance initiatives and corporate commodity, logistics, and inventory strategies to achieve synergy across the operation.
Leads the implementation of lean manufacturing tools including pull systems, leveling and visual management systems.
Manages and coordinates physical inventory process.
Management of transportation issues, including review of carriers and daily execution of shipping schedules, for cost, service and quality.
Review all issues related to NAFTA for imports and exports and insure compliance to same.
Review stock levels and direct to customer orders to assure 95% SFR and OTP.
Contracts and evaluates logistics suppliers for transportation, Customs clearance, warehouse services, outbound distribution according to Eaton policies and procedures.
Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems to recommend and/or implement solution to optimize inventory levels and customer service. Arranges for the sale of scrap, obsolete, surplus material and by-products in order to minimize excess material.
Defines an action plan and ensures its follow up to maintain and/or improve Engagement Employee Survey department’s rate.
Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, mainly in the Eaton Business Excellence (EBE); ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Operating Review and Employee Survey.
Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).
MESH compliance and follow up of policies and goals.
Support MESH to accomplish goals and objectives related to environment and safety.
- Support to sustain SSA for environmental care.
- Report any act or condition not safe.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ Supply Chain Manager experience in a large company required.
Minimum of 3 years Supply Chain experience in a medium/large manufacturing facility (150+ employees) required
Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English-Spanish (Bilingual) required.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.
Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited institution required.

Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management
Proven ability to get results through cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience using materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
Knowledge of VISTA, VISTA GLOBAL and MENTOR required.
