Sales Engineer – Electrical



Working for the Electrical sales team, you will work for sector which sells products including Switches, sockets, plugs and distribution boards.


Predominately working within the oil and gas sector, the role has a solid existing client base and you will be targeted to increase current sales with these existing clients but also approaching new business


Your key deliverables



  • Visit Accounts to maximise the sales of our complete product range.

  • This is not a management position

  • Convert competitive accounts to CCH products.

  • Ensure that the contacts database is accurate.

  • Promote CCH products to new customers, potentially in new markets.

  • Work closely with the other Sales Engineers.

  • Carry out all work in an efficient and economical manner.

  • To plan, agree and carry out sales and marketing activities with Accounts, so as to best meet the objectives as defined above.

  • Involvement in developing the 3-year plan for the region.

  • Develop positive relationships with product specialist.

  • To work closely with other Cooper businesses and see the global picture.




Are you?



  • We are looking for a result driven dynamic candidate who is highly enthusiastic about their role

  • We will look at candidates from a Business development background working within distribution companies or directly for the end client

  • Solid business to business experience

  • Happy to travel across the North of England

  • Electrical qualification preferred to ONC electrical or equivalent ideally

  • Ideally 5 years industry experience within manufacturing or oil and gas

  • Experience of winning new customers

  • Experience presenting to clients

  • Target orientated

  • Experience of managing a forecast of sales
