This exciting role offers opportunity to:

Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Manage the day-to-day sales activities of Crouse-Hinds in Victoria in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy in Australia

 
Your essential responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures and Initiatives to improve the overall performance of the Region

  • Work closely with The Director, Business Managers in Mining, Industrial/Ex. and LED to develop customer–oriented products in application and solution

  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization

  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility

  • Report weekly opportunities, calls in diverse industries and plans for the coming weeks.

  • Coach customer’s sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services

  • Conduct user investigations, train, provide support to Crouse-Hinds Sales teams and focused distributors

  • Help to integrate new product launches
  • Have specific targets for sales, training, and key customer development

  • Develop relationships with major distributor partners in Industrial channel

  • Implement major growth programs with channel partners

  • Execute share gains resulting from strategic growth initiatives at major end user customer base. And, develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Plus, implement the organization’s overall sales strategy in the region

Qualifications

 

Required criteria:

 

  • Industry professional with minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering/Consultant relationship ideally in the O&G/ Heavy Industrial Market

  • Prior budget and P&L experience
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BA/BS) or equivalent Electrical Trade Certification is required

  • Fluent communication in English
  • In-depth knowledge of Industrial Electrical Applications, Hazardous Experience preferred, proven sales, marketing and customer relations experience

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Able to work autonomously as well as been a strong team member, able to display organizational planning skills and strong time management skills

  • Must have exemplary customer service skills
