Associate Engineer - Packaging

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Packaging engineering.

  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience and demonstrated capabilities in Packaging Support Engineering and product structures in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Must be proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

  • SAP skills or familiarity with product structures in other ERP systems are desired as well as strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. 

  • Must be proficient in Data Management – ERP Tools.

  • Well-developed interpersonal, data accuracy and communication skills are also a must to achieve on-time completion of multiple projects.

  • Experience in the packaging design is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer.

  • Must be capable of working effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global team members.

  • Ability to articulate and promote project management best-practices.

  • Ability to achieve goals by coaching, mentoring and motivating

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Ability to work independently and to follow directions
