Eaton in Redditch, UK has an opening for Brazing Operator.
The main responsibilities of the position involve pre-cleaning and sizing componentry to fixtures and drawings, undertaking cleaning piece parts ready for non-destructive testing and looking for internal and external defects (self inspection). There is also a requirement to be involved in the torch and induction brazing of components. Dry film and dry blast activities will also be required.
The nature of the work is predominantly small batch, end-fittings to stainless steel rigid tubes.
The position is open to candidates who have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role, brazing to aerospace standards and have a relevant qualification. Experience of high and low temperature brazing would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
