Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Dallas Fort Worth facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.


Position Overview:


This is an exciting opportunity to launch a startup distribution facility for Eaton.  We are looking for the Human Resources Manager who will thrive with the opportunity to strongly influence the design and culture of this facility.  The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of the site leadership team this role will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans.

In this function, you will:
  • Assure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goalsetting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization. Provide coaching and consulting to business frontrunners on effective performance management intervention

  • Advocate employee communications processes that inform employees as well as to assure two way communications between employees and management.

  • Provide guidance and direction to business frontrunners on human resource management policies, coaching and counseling processes and internal systems.

  • Manage training and development processes to facilitate employee development.

  • Assure that the business has in place processes that comply with country legal requirements in the areas of employment and employment administration.

  • Administer compensation programs to assure strong pay practices through systems that strive to reward higher employee performance.

  • Drive positive employee relations and employee engagement.

  • Develop talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs. Coach others on how to engage and retain key talent, identify when there is a retention risk and differentiate between wanted and unwanted turnover.

Qualifications

  • Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers’ compensation and labor law.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Master’s degree in human resources or an MBA with a human resources concentration.

     
     
Position Success Criteria :
 
  • Represent the Company’s programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCP.

  • Develop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policy.

  • Monitors all programs to insure compliance with all local, state and federal labor laws, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, FCRA, and WARN as applicable.

  • Develop, implement and manage plant wide committees including but not limited to Inclusion & Diversity, Rewards & Recognition, Community Involvement, and Wellness
