Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Eden Prairie, MN facility.
The Human Resources Specialist will provide tactical and administrative support across the talent life cycle. This person will be an integral part of the HR team and responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate and employee experience.

Participates in talent acquisition efforts by fostering and maintaining relationships with qualified candidates through LinkedIn and networking to build pipelines, ensuring each candidate has a positive interviewing experience, conducting new employee orientations, and managing new employee documentation/reporting process. Manages our company sponsorships to engage with local top talent.
Manages through the offboarding process: Assists in exit interview process, supports employee and manager through transition, and manages administrative tasks through this process.
Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Helps to maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related area from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two (2) years of HR administrative or talent acquisition experience
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Eden Prairie, MN, will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Previous experience in an office environment
- Proficiency with HRIS, MS Excel
Knowledge of US labor laws in HR related subject matter including: recruitment & selection, workers compensation, disability management, compensation, benefits & data privacy
