As a Sales Manager UK – Security, you will lead the Eaton UK Security sales team, with a focus on both the specialist security installer and distributor market, and the traditional EWS channel, driving a strategy to increase sales revenue, E2E margin and market share.

The ideal candidate would be a proven sales performer, would have security / intruder product & market knowledge and able to lead and coach, be a confident presenter and have sound business acumen


You will work within our world class Sales Security Team in our Mitcheldean Site.

Your key deliverables :
  • Develop a high-performing team through leadership, coaching and a culture of learning

  • Drive the Security systems strategy to deliver the annual profit plan, accelerating the sales pipeline and providing accurate forecasting for
    demand management and production scheduling

  • Be the voice of Security within the country sales organisation & effectively collaborate with other departments and the Eaton Life Safety business unit to
    realise mutual objectives

  • Maintain & enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops & reviewing professional publications

  • Establish personal networks & participate in professional societies & industry bodies to find opportunities to position Eaton as the authoritative voice
    in the industry

  • Be active in the wider Eaton team by encouraging and developing cross selling opportunities across the platform

  • Ensure high engagement in your group in the use of Eaton sales enablement tools


  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant sales experience with demonstrable evidence of success performing in a similar role within Security.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related or engineering discipline would be advantageous but not essential

  • Results driven with absolute determination and motivation to achieve in sales. Highly organized, with attention to detail

  • A network of contacts and relationships in the Security Industry, M&E Consultant, Main and M&E Contracting community within the defined geography

  • The academic ability to successfully carry out the role with a broad understanding of sales processes and strategies

  • Approachable and able to communicate at all levels in an effective and clear manner

  • Commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction
