Develop and delivers solutions to enhance Eaton's ecommerce capabilities utilizing Oracle Commerce (ATG) and Endeca products. Builds and supports ecommerce solutions.
Technical areas of responsibility include:
- Involved in developing and delivering ecommerce application design, maintenance and integration
Understanding of the software platforms and supporting sub-systems (OS / data layer / application server / web server / middleware), related to commerce.
Interacting with architects, technical leads, internal customers to understand business requirements. Planning work in detail at design level, creating a robust and track-able plan. Performing quality reviews for own work.
Endeca knowledge and UI (front end development) exposure is preferable
Monitor Oracle Commerce (ATG) platform and support requests/incidents raised by customer service representatives (CSR’s) and/or functional analysts.
Serve as a liaison between Eaton ecommerce store users and internal application support teams (ERP’s, middleware, Bidman etc.)
Strong inter-team and intra-team communication. Adherence to Eaton's ITIL and Project Management Practices
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Implementing ecommerce applications and solutions using Oracle Commerce (ATG). Page Builder Development experience on an Oracle ATG platform.
Development and support of ecommerce using Oracle commerce (ATG)
Regular monitoring of Oracle commerce platform and scheduled jobs for any high incidents
Investigate Remedy incidents submitted by CSR’s/FA’s to address any production issues impacting user to place order in B2B, B2E or B2C stores.
Analyze Remedy requests submitted by CSR’s/FA’s to add products/prices/catalogs using Oracle Configuration center
Co-ordinate with connecting systems teams like SAP, Oracle, SOA, PI and Bidman etc. for investigation of incidents or implementing requests.
Responsible for creating or maintaining support playbook/documentation
Commitment to knowledge sharing
- Bachelor in Engineering/B.E/B. Tech and/or required equivalent
Overall 3-6 years of IT experience
Experience in Oracle Commerce (ATG)
Knowledge of XML/XSL/XSD
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the Organization
