Eaton’s Fuel and Motion Controls division, a part of our Aerospace group, is currently seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH location.
The Senior Laboratory Technician will perform assembly and test on various types of main engine and airframe pumps in the Engineering Test Laboratory utilizing aviation fuel.
The Euclid facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Perform tests per specifications.
Inspect, measure and assemble hardware per drawings and assembly procedures.
Fabricate test setups and checkout test equipment prior to testing.
Record and maintain data in an orderly manner and turn in completed TRs.
Insure that tests and shippers are completed per schedule.
Follow all safety requirements for working in a hazardous (class 1, Division 1, Group D) area.

High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within a 50 mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of airframe or main engine pump testing.
Familiarity in setting up data acquisition equipment and instrumentation.
Familiar with LabView.
Knowledge of Aircraft Accessories, Products and Test Equipment.
Ability to interpret drawings and test specifications.
Familiar with working safely with aviation fuel.
Able to measure hardware using precision instruments.
Good Technical Aptitude.
Good Communication Skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
