Essential Functions:
 

Support the processes and department specific objectives at our Edmonton facility by:

 
  • Creating/updating ACAD drawings
  • Actively participating in plant wide lean activities.
  • Supporting Engineering Department with cost improvements and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
 
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Enrolled and returning to an accredited University Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.
  • Must live within 80km of the Edmonton facility.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Ability to comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office 365, ACAD.
  • Skills with hand tools would be an asset.
  • Good attitude and work ethic.
  • Understanding of the company’s and competitor’s electrical distribution and control products.
