NDT Technician

 

Reporting to Team Leaders and Manufacturing Team Manager the role is for is dye penetrant operator.



Your key deliverables:

 

  • Have the skills and knowledge to carry out any necessary preparations of parts before and after inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
  • Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard and Work instruction.
  • Drives and sustains an attitude to continuous improvement as defined by Eaton standards.

  • Maintain a safe working environment and adopts a 5S approach to working.

  • Initiate cost saving and new ideas.

  • To be co-operative and flexible.

  • Must adhere to all Eaton EHS, Quality and training requirements.

  • To work within a team.

  • To interpret engineering drawings and applicable aerospace plating specifications.


Qualifications

Are you?

 

  • Knowledgeable in NDT in aerospace- this is required

  • Strong at problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Possessing in NADCAP experience- this would be an advantage

  • Knowledgeable in magnetic particle inspection (MPI) would also be an advantage but not essential

  • Possessing in penetrant testing level 2

  • Computer literate in MS Office

  • Possessing in any relevant health and safety qualifications- this would be an advantage
