The Product Specialist responsibilities include launching new products, developing, promoting, positioning and support Power Quality products on Russian and Kazakhstan market.
Focus on product groups:
UPS’s and related products: uninterruptible power sources and accessories; rectifiers, ePDU, batteries.
Power management: software, connectivity.
Power distribution: floor- and rack-mounted power management units.
Pre-packaged data center solutions.
DC power systems.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Launch new PQ products on Russian and Kazakhstan market.
Support and promote of existing and new PQ products on Russian and Kazakhstan market.
Develop of price and positioning strategies for PQ equipment, prepare of PQ price-list
Keep all the product catalogs in ERP system updated, control and organize stock assortment.
Make competitive technical, price analysis and marketing analysis.
Prepare necessary documentation (brochures, manuals, catalogues, data sheets, etc.) for respective product categories for successful promote and sales in Russian and Kazakhstan Region.
Create marketing and technical content for focus products. Be involved in product related MARCOM activities (internal and customers presentations, articles and hand-outs preparation, trade shows, web-site, newsletter etc.).
Provide external and internal customer support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and locally. Configure and help in selection of equipment on customer or partner request.
Create and deliver technical and sales trainings internal and external customers.
Provide VoC (voice of customer) and regulatory insight to Business Units to support new product development. Communicate quality issues to Eaton’s manufacturing facilities and be involved in technical improvements of Eaton’s products.
Keep up to date product data on local product regulatory and compatibility requirements.
Be involved in pre-sale activities, lead product group promotion among distributors, partners and end customers, support specific projects or negotiations with sales organizations to improve win-rate, support the sales organization in preparation for (and attendance of) customer & channel events (key-note speeches, presentations & technical product support), lead demand generation for PQ equipment.
Cooperate with local sales and marketing team in terms of product, customers and projects support and products promotion, including demand generation activities, trade actions, etc.
Analyze PQ products market and key segments (IT, Data Centers, industry, etc.) requirements and trends, business- and marketing annual and quarter planning for PQ equipment and key segments.
Ensure timely and proper certification of PQ products for EAC (Eurasian Conformity) requirements.
Accomplish other business-related tasks upon management’s request.
Background and Skills
a) Solid technical background and education (leading Moscow technical/engineering Universities is advantage)
b) Technical knowledge of all electrical product groups, deep technical knowledge of PQ products, technologies and solutions
c) Deep PQ products market understanding (strategic vision, trends) and competitors knowledge; understanding key PQ segments: IT, Industrial and Data Center is a plus
d) Knowledge of marketing instruments, market analysis methods and promoting strategy development and tools
e) Experience in a product management is a plus
f) Fluent written and spoken English, good grammar skills in Russian
g) Experience of performing MARCOM activities (presentations, articles, product brochures etc.) is a plus
h) Experience of products certification is a plus
i) Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
j) Understanding competitive advantages of Eaton PQ equipment and ability to argument it to partners, consumers, local sales, understanding about solutions based on relevant products and main customer segments will be a plus.
