Our Business Service Center site employs around 600 people.  Eaton’s EMEA BSC was established in 2015. Our mission is to provide high value and services to support internal and external customers across Eaton’s Electrical, Hydraulics, and corporate functions in EMEA.

 

Come and be a part of a young, ambitious and friendly international Electrical Material Planning team with diverse skill set and team across Hungary, India, UK, Czech Republic. As a Material Planner, you will manage value stream from supplier to distribution centre, will be responsible for material availability and you will manage the electrical finish goods inventory. Moreover, you will maintain system inventory records and enter transactions. You will report directly to the Site Material Planner Team Leader. Our goal is to achieve customer satisfaction through effective planning. 

 

You will make a difference by: 

  • Managing flow of Finish Goods between Suppliers/Factories and Distribution Center 
  • Ensuring demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time 
  • Utilizing SAP Requirements Planning (MRP) module 
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers 
  • Managing inquiries from customer service 
  • Contacting customer service in case there are changes to the supply plan that affect promised sales order dates 
  • Making decision regarding MTS orders 
  • Ensuring that planning data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios  - Investigating and resolving Blocked Invoice cases 
  • Providing Forecast to Vendors 
  • Taking continuous improvement actions for Material Planning KPI
  • On-time Delivery (OTD); Stock fill rate (SFR) 
  • Understanding and managing risks to minimize impact on planning KPI 
  • Taking follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect planning KPI 
  • Organizing delivery from Suppliers to Distribution Center 
  • Being part of challenging projects and stakeholder of several improvements 
  • Collaborating with Internal and External stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the Distribution Center


Qualifications

  Your experience matters:

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Confident user of SAP and MS Office
  • Min. 2 years` experience in planning/sourcing/logistics area
  • Open and proactive
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to take ownership
