This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Provides leadership for software product development team, contributes to the architecture, design, and implementation of industry standard FTD DTM based applications, Mobile Apps and backend architectures based on Microsoft Technologies (.NET, Angular JS, MS Azure) encompassing device to Azure/GSM cloud connectivity.  

  • Creates live dashboards and communicates uniformly by report outs with bug tracking, requirements test case management and collaboration tools.

  • Develops the Continuous Integration /Continuous Development using Bamboo and focuses on program, design and engineering work package reviews.

  • Understand customer requirements and communicate them to teams, and act as the liaison for program activities as appropriate.

  • Trains, develops and motivates subordinates to achieve their performance goals and review their accomplishments and conducts performance reviews. Recruit and retain a team of engineers.

  • Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on development and support activities.

  • Ability to deploy IoT based solution

  • Synergies and leverages engineering capabilities across groups.

  • Manages department budget and performance to forecast.

  • Manages and develops people: identifies, attracts and develops key engineering talent for the organization.

  • Champions continuous process improvements to support the Eaton Business System; APEX, Employee Survey, EBEA, DFSS and DMAIC.




  •  Computer Science / Electronics & Telecommunications.

  • Total relevant work experience: 10+ years.

  • Strong technical experience in - C# .NET, Angular JS, FDT DTM, Mobile Apps (iOS, Android), Python,

  • Experience in deployment of Industrial IoT solutions & Apps for industrial automation product lines.

  • Experience in Requirement, architecture, design & code reviews and requirement-based testing - Unit, Integration, System testing using tools like JIRA, JAMA, Bit Bucket, Confluence, Bamboo.

  • Sound knowledge & demonstrated experience of full software development life cycle on multiple projects including requirements, design, development, verification& validation, qualification & certification.

  • Proven experience on Talent management (Hire, Develop, Retain), resource allocation and project management.

  • Sound Knowledge and experience with process frameworks (e.g. CMMI) including requirements management, defect tracking, build management, change management, and configuration management tools

  • Experience collaborating with local / global suppliers for Hardware/Software procurement, building test lab setups etc.

  • Software FMEA and excellent communications skills. A high degree of aptitude, creativity is required.

  • A minimum of 2+ years of people management experience required.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC) on multiple projects including requirements, design & development, verification & validation, qualification & certification for Electrical applications.

  • Sound Knowledge and experience with process frameworks, requirements management, defect tracking, build management, change management, and configuration management tools.

  • Program management skills, knowledge of customer strategies, successful new product introduction experience, creative/innovative thinking.

  • Knowledge and use of tools- like ReSharper, communication protocols (Modbus, Bluetooth), test automation using Ranorex, Python, developing licensing / revenue generation architectures.

  • Ensure clarity, accuracy and neatness of drawings & technical documents.

  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to stakeholders and technical staff.
