We are looking for a Technical Sales Coordinator in Eaton’s electrical business, based in Mascot, Sydney. This exciting role offers the opportunity to:

Act as the key internal contact for all customers including Key Accounts with a primary focus of providing superior customer service and support while constantly looking for new or better ways to improve our service, systems and performance


Your essential responsibilities:

  • Handle daily execution of key account support efforts including: order processing, order tracking, EDI, customer compliance, shipping documentation, logistics, problem resolution, communication, reporting and systems, processes and procedures needed to manage these accounts effectively

  • Professionally and efficiently manage phone & technical enquiries from both internal and external customers

  • Track and manage large UPS orders with supply chain, OSP by attending weekly meetings with production and customers but not limited to Labeling, routing, freight forwarding, logistics - creating labels and organizing shipments

  • Liaise with warehouse, logistics and Supply chain to manage stock levels and to ensure on time deliveries

  • Work directly and collaboratively with Sales, Service, Product management team and other internal support to resolve and/or escalate customer issues and concerns

  • Act as a backup for technical Helpdesk team and Service coordinators

  • Follow up with key customer concerns and aim for satisfactory solutions from both the company’s and customer’s viewpoint

  • Develop sound knowledge of the company’s products, policies and standards

  • Work in a team environment to achieve division’s sales and margin objectives

  • Any other job-related duties that may be requested from time to time

  • Be aware of the company’s and your own obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

  • Understand and comply with the company's mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system



If you have:
  • Electrical Degree Preferred
  • Customer focused with a rapport building and trustworthy approach
  • Exceptional verbal and written Communication skills
  • Organizational skills, along with a great ability to prioritize work and handle multitasking
  • Professional work approach, the ability to take ownership of the process.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable handling conflicting deadlines
  • Computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP and Oracle)
  • Previous experience in an internal sales role taking calls and answering email inquiries
  • Results orientated
