Eaton’s Vehicle Group North America division is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for Coordinate and maintain the material planning and distribution of parts to ensure an environment which supports plant, divisional and corporate defined goals.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Review open orders delivered by customers. Analyze customer requirements and prioritization of orders for assembly to assure we are building in the correct sequence to avoid customer line disruption & maintain on-time delivery. React to demand changes by communicating this to Materials Management Organization.

  • Check available production capacity and compares to current forecast. Make proposal of necessary changes to adjust to customer needs or/and capacity constraints

  • Prepare daily assembly schedule using Oracle, Cognos information.  Prepare daily summary of past due and ten-day assembly/shipping demand.

  • Create and prepare shipping schedules based on customer requirements and finished good availability.

  • Measure MPS accuracy comparing to real production, Supplier and Client Delivery Rating system reports (OTD)

  • Daily review of open schedules and part status with Assembly & Shipping to assure on-time delivery.

  • Prepare and analysis spreadsheet of assembly/shipping schedule model mix. Communicate significant model mix changes to the organization.

  • Control and coordinate all the material that must be handled by outsource suppliers, such as heat treatment and machining processes to guarantee the pieces on time and the full fit for the pipe line.

  • Guarantee the incoming and shipping processes to make sure that all the parts are being registered thought Oracle to achieve the inventory accuracy.

  • Follow up all the components in and out the plant and control all the inventories including the scrap, material in process, incoming, receiving, shipping, to guarantee the inventory accuracy and the good result for the physical inventory. Calculate the Finish Goods Inventory levels that the plant must have in order to achieve the OTD goals

  • Lead the materials or inventory on flow (work in process) in order to ensure the ideal inventory in the floor, supervise the correct flow on material on every process (Plant, outsources, hold inventory, reworks and scrap)

  • Continually work to improve the scheduling process.

  • Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inventory Management & Optimization. The ability to ensure product availability through inventory administration activities such as demand planning, stock optimization, and monitoring the age of the product.

  • Demand Management. The use of qualitative and quantitative methods to predict short-term incoming demand for use as an input into the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

  • Order Management. The knowledge and skills necessary to manage the receipt and scheduling of customer orders. Processes included in this competency include standard order receipt, exception identification, and exception resolution.

  • Master Production Scheduling. The knowledge and creation of an overall production plan over a specified time horizon which includes a list of part numbers, quantities, and due dates.

  • Proficient in MS Office toolset.
  • PC Program (Oracle)

  • English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required 80%
