Production Supervisor MRO - 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton’s Aerospace Group has an opening for a 2nd shift Aerospace Production Supervisor in our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) group. This position is based in Euclid, OH.


The Euclid facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.


The MRO Production Supervisor role is responsible for leading manufacturing teams to ensure a safe work environment; achieving production schedules, product quality, and product cost goals; and coordinating with all functional and service groups to meet or exceed customer requirements. The Production Supervisor drives performance to meet or exceed financial plans and tactical goals as well as motivates employees to maintain a high performance culture.


Essential Functions:

  • Assure policies, procedures, and other documentation are followed to ensure consistent and compliant product.

  • Support product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer manufacturing delivery times are met.

  • Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement.

  • Lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies to ensure the timely delivery (OTD, TAT) of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment by promoting Eaton’s Ethics, Values and Philosophies.

  • Align workforce to company vision and goals.

  • Initiate and continuously manage improvements to manufacturing processes through the Eaton Business System (EBS).

  • Fully engage the workforce and drive change by empowering employees with decision-making, fostering innovation and promoting continuous learning.

  • Clearly communicate expectations and hold employees accountable for performance on a frequent basis and through the use of the APEX process.

  • Motivate and coach employees and teams to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity and quality.

  • Ensure employees have the necessary skills, knowledge, information and tools to do their jobs safely and effectively. Also manage the cross training of employees to ensure optimum flexibility.

  • Provide and foster communication.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required.

  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing or Operations environment is required

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. 

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.  Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of Euclid, Ohio will be considered.


    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Aerospace environment.

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • Previous exposure to manufacturing technologies and processes, as well as Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.

  • Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process login

  • Previous Repair Station experience.
