Job Description

The National Account Manager Lowe’s is responsible for the achievement of annual sales budget across all product lines and in total for Lowe’s.  In this role, you will direct all sales activity (including both brick & mortar and dotcom) for the achievement of short and long-term business objectives, increased profit and market share.

  • You will facilitate, develop and execute the Lowes strategic plan (playbook) throughout the sales and cross-functional teams that support the retail channel.

  • You will be responsible for providing external intelligence and compiling competitive analysis (new product introductions, benchmarking, market share, SWOT analysis, pricing, etc).

  • You will assist in the development of new product roadmaps (MGPP), pricing and marketing strategies - Identifying gaps in the current product offerings.

  • You will leverage category management team to identify market trends and growth opportunities to drive customer behavior and profitability.

  • You will perform proactive preparation, strategic development and participation of all line reviews.

  • You will perform ongoing collaboration with supply chain to align sales / event forecast with production planning.

  • Youi will review customer scorecards / metrics and facilitate improvement plans when needed.

  • You will work with sales team and service groups to drive execution of key store events such as: Product resets, utility rebate programs, pro events and product training.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales / marketing roles of increasing responsibility

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with consumer products

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship

  • Must reside within 50 miles of Mooresville, NC to be considered.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with consumer products, preferably in electrical products (lighting ideal) with Lowe’s.

  • Category management,  pricing, product management, operational teams) and externally (merchandising, replenishment, store service, etc.).
