Eaton’s Automotive division is currently seeking a Materials Project Lead to join our team. This position is based at our San Luis Potosí facility.
The Materials Project Lead leads cross functional teams in key initiatives and projects that support the VGNA Materials Strategy and Profit Plan targets.
The role requires active coordination with Leadership, Operations, Sales, Materials Planning, Supply Chain and Finance. This individual will work closely with the divisional and plant operations teams to deploy standard process and tools to optimize materials operations. This will include onsite support for driving continuous improvement and problem solving

Manages execution of key projects related to achieving VGNA materials strategy, cost out, process optimization and continuous improvement
Provides training and mentoring to materials resource’s in deploying VG standard material processes and tools
Review, analysis, and updating key work process related to material planning
Working closely with ProLaunch, Commodity Managers and VAVE functions to support sourcing, resourcing, ramp up/down and cost out projects
Provides on-site support for key initiatives and projects across VGNA sites
Executing trouble shooting, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for data integrity of Oracle ERP systems and related reporting tools
Create and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Materials Planning, Plant operations or related field
Position Success Criteria :
- Plant operations experience is preferred
- Technical knowledge: ERP (Oracle) business intelligence platforms (Cognos, Qlikview), Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint), and product knowledge.
- Problem solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, ability to speak to different levels of the organization
