You will work within our world class Sales Team in our Johannesburg office.

Your key deliverables:
  • Achieve sales based on allocated target while keeping in the bounds of Eaton’s route to market strategy, with in Gauteng region.

  • Keep yourself informed and updated with Eaton’s products and route to market strategy, specifically those in range of your main area of responsibility.

  • Ability to manage and promote channels sales via a distribution model, which includes joint calls and marketing activities with our distribution channel partners to End users, IT resellers and value-added resellers.

  • Assist the “IT Distributor” sales teams on more detailed solutions and projects, providing product and program expertise

  • Prepare presentations to clients on product offerings and technologies and doing training from time to time with Distributors, Resellers and EWS Partners

  • Develop and Maintain a Customer Base, including the establishment of an electrical wholesale channel for UPS units below 6kVA


  • Technical Knowledge of 1-phase UPS experience and DC Rectifiers

  • A commercial or marketing Diploma with 3 years electrical sales experience in IT Channel or Electrical Distribution channel sales.

  • Good understanding of IT Channel and EWS route to Market

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.

  • Ability to coach and train individuals, Presentation Skills, Public Speaking


  • Ability and willingness to Travel – Must have a Valid Drivers License

  • Strong commercial acumen with a record of closing the gap between top and bottom selling

  • Passion for client interfacing with the ability to network with clients at a senior level

  • Knowledge and experience in electrical solution selling
