  • Works with OneSource VAT Analytics and Automated Tax Reporting software, Oracle, SAP and legacy ERP systems.

  • Responsible to prepare, review and submit tax return in a correctly and timely manner.

  • Responsible to extract data and in-depth analyze monthly ERP VAT report, AR, AP, GL and review Exception reports to detect errors/exceptions that need to be corrected in order to prepare and submit a correct Tax return.

  • Support the team by effectively reviewing all deliverables (VAT/CIT filings, audit documents, etc.)

  • To reduce the tax exposure and improve the overall quality of master data an in-depth analyze and review of Tax exception reports and closely follow up with operating finance teams to make sure same error/exception will not occur again

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of GL to ERP VAT reports to the Indirect Tax returns

  • Responsible to electronically archive all working papers and financial data/reports/etc. of each Tax return

  • Works closely with the operating finance teams as well as businesses on process review and improvements

  • Deal with questions, self-tax audits and support officials audits required by revenue authorities to minimize local entities sources and time spent on this area

  • Supports the China Tax COE centralization project

  • Supports the VAT COE manager in set up and creation of formal procedures for multi-country VAT accounting and administration.


Qualifications

  • Experience in administration and tax accounting

  • 5 years of experience in China Tax compliance, tax accounting especially VAT, familiar with China CIT/ VAT/Export VAT refund filing process/regulation on manufactory industry. Big 4 or large corporate experience a plus.

  • VAT experience in countries of North East Asian region would be ideal

  • SAP/Oracle/OneSource experience would be desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required.

  • Accounting/finance/economics degree a plus.

  • Fluent written and oral English is a plus

  • People management skill is a plus
