Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Querétaro office
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for:
Responsible for the Queretaro Plant Payroll Process in TRESS System, scope includes through knowledge of TRESS system including monitoring and maintaining system control. Review and process time and attendance information and ensure accuracy of inputs and outputs from TRESS. Through understanding of Mexican labor law and ability to perform routine and adhoc analysis and reporting for example: calculation and preparation of the Federal and State tax payments, IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT payments and reconciliation of employee accounts, vacation liability and Christmas bonus-based accruals. Provide excellent customer service to our employees.
Some activities related with the position will be:
Analyze & review all the information for the weekly & Biweekly payroll preparation,
Ensuring of the Time & Attendance adjustments and corrections are made and input into TRESS on time.
Review payroll calculations ensuring the correct applications of the Company benefits package as well as the correct application of payroll withholdings according to Mexican Tax Regulations & labor Law.
Ensure of the correct application of the Recognition and Reward programs; E-Star, Key Contributors, etc.
Ensure of the correct application for the others Payroll withholdings; Hand tools, Security shoes, glasses, uniforms, ID, etc.
Coordination of the weekly and bi-weekly payroll deposit to the employee’s individual accounts.
Coordination of the weekly Food Coupon distribution to all the employees ensuring have all the employee’s signatures on their individual pay stub.
Preparation of employee terminations according to Labor Law and income tax withholdings.
Responsible for legal financial and tax reporting to the Mexican government: Social Security, Housing Tax & State Tax contributions.
Preparation and submission of the Statutory Annual Income Tax return for the Mexican employees.
Responsible for the preparation of the Payroll special process; Profit Sharing, Christmas Bonus, Vacations & Saving Fund annual distribution.
Responsible for the Saving Fund coordination and the local investment Company IXE.
Prepare and analyze all the payroll information requested for internal & external Audits.
Keep good control of Payroll Documents files.
Assist to employees on payroll issues & differences explanations, provide exceptional customer service.
Assist in preparing all the payroll related entries on the Monthly Closing and/or reconciliations of related general ledger accounts.
Participate on the implementation changes of the new Benefits; Electronic Food Coupon, Pension Plan Benefits, etc.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
2 years working experience in Payroll.
TRESS System experience is preferred.
Strong Microsoft excel capability.
Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Eaton's Philosophy, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
- Good communication skill.
Ability to multi-task and maintain strict confidentiality.
