This exciting role offers the opportunity to:
- Drive growth in its MTL product line
Plan and implement channel sales strategy in Japan, drive sales specialists to support channels as well as develop and maintain good relationship with major OEM accounts and manage Korea team in major project pursuit
Demonstrate proficiency in channel management, sales operation management and full knowledge of the product line and its applications
Be responsible for agreed sales targets and will take direct sales responsibility for MTL Products
Work collaboratively across the regional structure and the product line infrastructure in order to be successful
Work collaboratively & transparently with peers in the projects and channel organization in order to maximize both opportunities and wins for the MTL business
Share information and data readily to ensure that the entire sales team is working in a cohesive and unified manner
Plan, establish and maintain major OEM account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
Establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communications to other relevant organizational functions/divisions
Participate with other key account managers and sales management, in development of sales strategies for national accounts; helps identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organization-wide strategy
Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated
Provider of knowledge, project data and key customer information for the region.
Support timely and market driven New Product Developments and working with the PLM and engineering teams as appropriate
Monitor market conditions, trends, competitor activities and assist in the capture of VOC (Voice of Customer)
A minimum of 12-year experience in a sales position, focusing on present and future target markets – Oil & Gas, chemical, pharmaceutical verticals relevant sales experience with demonstrable evidence of success performing a similar role.
Experience in managing Channel Partners (distributors)
Experience working in a foreign company environment (non-Japanese/Korean)
Accomplished sales professional, ability to work across varying cultural groups, be effective in influencing without control or hierarchy, be confident in managing ambiguity and change
Product and commercial knowledge, particularly tied to Oil & Gas, chemical and pharmaceutical project pursuits (FEED, Detailed Design)
Experience in Process Automation products (Hazardous products and Markets)
- Degree qualified with an engineering
