Indirect Tax Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Indirect Tax Supervisor in Valinhos – Brazil. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Work with local team seeking opportunities to improve and optimize tax computation process, fiscal bookkeping and tax returns; 
  • Ensure appropriate records and keep effective control on tax accounting reconciliation; 
  • Analysis and interpretation of law on strategic studies and actions to reduce tax expenses; 
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with local regulation on computation and tax returns: Inputs and outputs/Tax computation - (ICMS/IPI/PIS/COFINS/ISS/Withholding Taxes/CPRB_ - SPED, DACON, DIRF, GIA-ST, GIA and others; 
  • Protect the organization against fiscal penalties ensuring appropriate tax transactions according to the business need, Eaton policies and local regulation.

Qualifications

Education / Experience required to meet position qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Economy or Law; 
  • Experience with Indirect Taxes, Tax operations design, legislation, conference and book analysis; 
  • Advanced English; 
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities; 
  • Understands how tax decisions or plants impacts other areas, such as Operations, Accounting and Treasury.  
Education / Experience preferred to meet position qualifications: 
  • Leading process and people by setting direction, giving encouragement, planning and organizing work activities; 
  • Spanish.
