Eaton’s Industries division is currently seeking a Materials Planner to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.
The Materials Planner is responsible for Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
• Scheduling of Incoming material, overall ownership of material ordering and availability
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Analyze, Planning and require the raw material and/or subassemblies for OEM & Service Parts production line’s (releases)
Avoid production line shutdown due to lack of raw material or subassemblies
Manage Phase In / Phase Out to avoid obsolete material
To resolve all the discrepancies of shipments with suppliers and internal customers
- Drive continuous improvements
Support to engineering change’s (pro launch and cost out projects) and new projects
Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives
- Follow-up supplier shipments & Track the supplier delivery
- Maintaining MRP system
Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution
Activities to support Corona Project: Materials planning process.
Active Participation in Eaton Activities (Inventory, Audits, Opex projects)
Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Eaton, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
MFG Pro Advanced level(Desirable)
Negotiations & Leadership skills
ERP Planning skills (desirable MFG/Pro)
Technical knowledge of bill of material structuring, schedule execution, and inventory management
APICS training (Desirable)
3 Years’ experience (at least) as materials planner in automotive industry or similar, working with global suppliers
