Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Partner Development Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse or Rochester, NY locations.
This position will be responsible for achieving sales quota or market development quota consistent with the expectations of a seasoned sales professional. The primary focus will be selling and supporting key accounts or channel partners in the region such as - direct market reseller (DMR’s),VAR 500 (IT Channel Partners), and potentially end user accounts in the assigned region.

In this function you will:
Develop existing and new customers in the assigned territory with growth expectations
Drive project-based business
Conduct customer technical and application training
Execute sales plans to meet performance expectation and requirements
Build relationships with key customers in the assigned region to help gain market share
Prepare sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations
Demonstrate superior selling skills for important customer services and applications under a variety of challenging circumstances.
Provide technical and solution-based product training

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience working with electrical, IT channel or Datacomm sales
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse or Rochester, NY will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

- Experience within the Data Center Market
- Experience with Power Quality solutions
- Experience with Power Distribution
- Experience with electrical contractors
