  • Develop, implement and direct continuous improvement activities in the plant to achieve the plant’s business objectives and goals

  • Develop strategic plans and deploy Lean Tools (VSM / SW / TPM / 8D / Kaizen) to production processes to meet and achieve sustainable operational improvements

  • Train, coach and mentor employees to achieve Green Belts certification in the areas of process improvement and process management

  • Develop strategic plans to reduce cost of quality
  • Review progress of CI projects and monitor cost savings
  • Compile, review and monitor site metrics for continuous improvements and reporting to plant management and Eaton corporate division

  • Organize and follow through with all the plant’s CIF, ELSS and EBS-PULL projects and initiatives and report progress of the respective projects to management on an accurate and timely basis

  • Represent the plant for improvement projects and business meetings with Eaton corporate division

  • Conduct regular and structured review sessions to introduce processes for innovation and improvement including maintaining appropriate documentation, project charters, progress updates and final reports

  • Captures and communicates learnings to enable best practice replication

  • Lead and administer CI council within the plant


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent professional qualification

  • 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and possess excellent working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEAS, APQP, control plans, project management and problem solving

  • A Certified Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred

  • Have an excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills

  • Team player with a passion for driving excellence, good facilitation skills, strategic change management skills, leadership and intervention capabilities

  • Independent and resourceful with strong ability to relate the big picture with senior management team as well as practical hands-on approach with employees

  • Able to perform under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
