Eaton Co-op - SCM - Glenolden, PA

Eaton’s Vehicle Division has an immediate opening for a SCM Co-Op participant. This position will be based in Glenolden, PA.
Position Overview:
This position will report directly to the site’s Supply Chain Manager and work closely with the Materials Supervisor. This role will be responsible for developing an automated system to control the generation of labels. This project will also include the responsibility of understanding and optimizing our packaging process and requirements Eaton is a Lean Manufacturing company, where Lean tools are taught and utilized on a daily basis. This role will be expected to absorb and apply these manufacturing techniques to maximize our efficiency. Including tools as 5S+, takt time, cycle time, and others.
This Co-Op is expected to run from March 30, 2020 to September 18, 2020.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in technology Innovation management, operations and supply chain management, management information systems, general business, business, engineering or business analytics
  • Must have completed at least two years
  • Minimum 3.0 overall cumulative GPA (please do not round)
  • must reside within a 50 mile radius of Glenolden, PA to be considered for this opportunity
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on an on-going basis
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
Use of Excel, Access or other Data Information Systems Tools.
