Utility – Shipping/Receiving- 2nd Shift

Eaton’s Power Delivery Division is currently seeking a Utility-Shipping and Receiving on 2nd Shift to join our team, pay starting at $21.45/hour, depending on experience. This position is location at our Waukesha, WI (Lincoln Ave) facility.


The Utility role is responsible for unloading and receiving incoming material shipments: checks, inspects and affirms incoming against various sheets, packing slips and freight bills; collaborates identification and affixes part number to the material.

In this function you will:
  • Load and unload trucks while following through with the required SAP transactions to close out the shipping process.

  • Receive and locate incoming production materials and checks material for part identification, proper quantities, and acceptability.

  • Drive and be knowledgeable in operating various types of material handling equipment.  Makes daily equipment and battery checks for water levels, oil levels, brakes, and tires.

  • Issue material, including consignment, in accordance with verbal, as well as written instructions in a timely sequence to meet production demands.

  • Resolve production and equipment problems to include contact and coordination of internal (maintenance) and outside vendors.  Provide research and evaluation relative to the capital needs of the department.

  • Interface with production control and/or manufacturing group to resolve any part shipment issues.

  • Work with purchasing group and transportation group (including freight companies) to receiving shipments or resolve issues.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of advanced experience with issuing, receiving, and locating parts in SAP.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with forklift and crane operation.
 

Position Success Criteria:

  • Demonstrate effective communications skills (i.e., verbal and written).
  • The ability to read order process sheets and use a tape measure.
  • Be responsible for his/her own work, under minimal supervision and instruction.
