Eaton manufactures 3-phase UPS devices for the EMEA market at our facility in Espoo.
As Aftersales Technical Support Engineer you will be providing technical support to EMEA regional service organization on daily basis on highest level of product knowledge.
Your key deliverables:
Support local and regional technical support engineers in their activities
Act as high-level trainer to field service engineers
Improve the content and quality of service trainings
Operate in the interface between technical support specialists of other regions
Act as an interface between field service and NPD
Produce service documentation and field service bulletins
Provide technical input for any stakeholder in Critical Power Solution team
Manage and lead trouble shooting in challenging field incidents
Contribute to the zero-incident culture supporting safety of field engineers through instructions
Coordinate the customer site incident escalations and field quality issues
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Required:
Technical education (B.Sc) in electrical or electronics engineering and at least 2-3 years of experience of working with UPS or other power electronic equipment
Solid engineering experience with power electronics or equivalent
Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems
High level of technical knowledge on 3ph UPS products
Ability to create technical documents
Ability to lead projects and implement activities
Ability to identify and implement new tools and processes
Ability to communicate fluently both in English and Finnish languages is required
Ability to be persistent and consistent
Self-directing and self-motivating
Strong sense of urgency
Strong customer focus
Desired:
