Eaton’s Wright Line Division is currently seeking an Inside Account Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Worcester, MA facility. 

Position Overview:
 

The Inside Account Manager provides world class customer support to both internal and external customers while maintaining complete awareness of all matters affecting a wide variety of customer types.  The Inside Account Manager follows all internal policies and documented procedures to help meet company goals for revenue growth and profitability.

In this function you will:
  • Communicate directly with internal and external customers via phone, email, and chat.

  • Advise sales team and customers of availability, price, and terms in line with standard parameters.  Exercises limited authority in quoting to meet competitive pressures.

  • Cross functional coordination to accurately quote lead time and delivery dates for product in a just in time manufacturing environment; proactively communicates delayed shipments to customers.

  • Accurately process all customer requests, including but not limited to, quotes and orders from direct customers, distributors, intercompany & internal sales personnel.

  • Resolve customer concerns with finance, logistics and quality team with a sense of urgency.

  • Assist with order and service coordination, enter replacement orders as necessary and raises the appropriate quality notifications to ensure root cause of issues are addressed. 

  • Responsible for ensuring issues are escalated to manager for prompt investigation and action as required.

  • Apply independent thinking skills and technical knowledge to make product selection requirements to meet unique customer application needs for a diverse product offering.

  • Balance advocating for the customer with business initiatives.
  • Identify and execute process improvements focused on enhancing customer satisfaction, department and business needs.

  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to generate well balanced customer and business solutions.

  • Collaborate on functional and cross functional projects that drive growth in support of Eaton Wright Line strategic goals and initiatives.

  • Perform to expectations in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Worcester, MA will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of customer service experience
