Eaton’s Fuel and Motion Control Systems division, a part of our Aerospace group, is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH office. The Euclid site is the premier design, development, manufacturing and servicing source for Aircraft Engine Fuel Pumps in revenue service worldwide.
The Project Engineer’s prime initial responsibilities will involve the technical coordination of product improvement changes or second source / retrofit offerings to drive aftermarket growth and cost-out opportunities. Future growth opportunities include adaptation of existing technologies to new customer applications and development of new pumping technologies to expand Eaton’s market.
The incumbent will define required work tasks for support personnel and prepares clear and concise reports documenting conclusions and recommended corrective actions. In conjunction, works to define Product Improvement changes which can drive aftermarket and cost-out opportunities.
You will also be responsible for establishing cost-effective test plans to demonstrate product conformance with Customer requirements, including test parameters to Test Engineering group for test procedure preparation, review and approval of test procedures, and oversight of product testing.

Interface with customer and other external and internal functions to define the technical requirements for new projects.
Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and schedules for proposed projects.
Prepare and maintain technical reports and presents technical information to customers and internal personnel in program reviews.
Report technical program metrics in accordance with Eaton Aerospace Common Engineering Standards.
Coordinate timely and cost-effective responses to technical inquiries from Customers and end users for products in service, including investigations to establish root cause of reported problems.
Provide Manufacturing Cell support as assigned by Engineering Management to ensure timely disposition of non-conforming hardware without sacrificing final product quality that could lead to operational deficiencies in the field.
Utilize the principles of Design for Six Sigma.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

CATIA solid modeling experience
Desired 6 month to 2 years Aerospace Experience (Co-op or Intern experience is applicable)
Desired 6 month to 1-year Design for Additive Manufacturing Experience (Co-op or Intern experience is applicable)
