Eaton’s Electrical Product Group is seeking a Technical Support Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Houston, TX facility. 

Position Overview:

The Technical Support Representative is responsible for managing day-to-day technical support for the HAC Group through in-house repairs and commissioning for offshore and onshore applications for CCTV, Communications, and Signaling systems and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for after-sales technical support.

In this function you will:
  • Be qualified to perform technical duties for offshore and onshore.

  • Have technical knowledge or aptitude for CCTV systems, Signaling, and networks

  • Quote spare parts and repairs

  • Develop a working technical knowledge of the HAC product portfolio and certification

  • Liaison and coordinate with HAC internal departments and other Eaton business unit entities to ensure accurate technical information is delivered to the customer

  • Be proactive in the identification and full investigation of customer complaints

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Associates or related technical degree
  • 2 years’ experience in technical support or service technician role
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic, data/computer, or electrical engineering preferred

  • Experience in the telecommunication segment within the oil and gas industries especially in Fire and Gas, CCTV, and PAGA solutions
