Customer Service & Master Scheduler

Eaton’s Vehicles division is currently seeking a Customer Service & Master Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro´s (Office).

The Customer Service & Master Scheduler is responsible for

  • Develop the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory
  • Develop Master Production Schedule in company system to prepare requirements for purchased and manufactured parts
  • Schedule & Coordinate finish goods shipments for Customers.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Receive  and  analyze customer demand

  • Create a rolling 3-month Master Production Plan  (MPS) for designated products Customer’s requirements.

  • Analyze and identify risks associated with the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times,  shortage parts

  • Ensure accuracy of MRP system
  • Create pick list for Customers (Assy Plants)
  • Follow-up of shipments.
  • Make sure all ASN´s have been sent
  • Support to Areas as required (Quality, Eng, Production, Projects, etc.)

  • Maintain customer systems (e.g. SMART, DRIVE, CMS, SUPPLY POWER etc.)

  • Monitor  customer ratings and dispute as appropriate

  • Drive continuous improvements & Participation in CI events

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met

  • Monitor daily production ( track open order status through production, shipping, and delivery)

  • Manage phase in/phase out to avoid obsolete material

  • Maintain F/G Kanban system updated
  • Monitor Sales  in daily basis

  • Support the S&OP process  to review demand, service levels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in  Business Admin, Engineering or similar

  • MFG Pro Advanced

  • Strong Negotiations skills

  • ERP Planning skills (preferably MFG/Pro)

  • English advanced

  • Experience using MRP / ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems

  • Technical knowledge of BOM, schedule execution, and inventory management

  • BMW. Chrysler, Mopar, GM, AUDI &  Ford  rating systems and disputing process

  • APICS training Desirable

  • 6 to 8 Years experience (at least) as customer service  and  planner

  • Six Sigma  training -  Yellow Belt  (Desirable)
