CNC Machinist- 3rd Shift

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team on 3rd shift. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.

The CNC Machinist is responsible for performing the tasks necessary to set up, operate, & machine quality parts on the turning machines.

In this function you will: 

  • Set-up & operate a variety of CNC machinery including turn machines, mills and furnace, utilizing a variety materials for standard product lines

  • Select proper tooling to set speeds & feeds, and calibration
  • Maintain tolerances & production standards
  • Perform misc. duties & operate secondary equipment including but not limited to burr bench, cleaning operations, etc.

  • Make offsets both in manual& CNC machines to compensate for tool wear.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered.

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience and/or CNC Machining educational background.

  • Minimum 1 years of experience using blue prints, micrometers, calipers, height stands and plug gages


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of machine set-up procedures.

Position Success Criteria :
  • Must be able to walk/stand for an 8 hour shift with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
