Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking an Assembler in Dept 08 on First shift to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and sub assembly for various standard product lines.

In this function you will:
Perform coil winding operations on a variety of coils and for different applications, size, design, etc., on small to medium coils.
Set-up winding machines and related equipment for size and type of wire, number of turns, type and size of insulation, etc.
- Perform basic soldering operations.
Adjust fixtures and tension devises for proper winding tension, assemble special coils for proto-type jobs, and tag or label finished coils.
Provide proper resistance when winding coils and testing of finished coils.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of soldering.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
Must be able to walk/stand for an 8 hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
