As the BDM- you will be  you will be responsible for selling Lighting Solutions and other associated Eaton products. You will play a key role in driving energy solution sales across the UK by developing business plans to ensure that Eaton Lighting, Emergency Lighting and Central Battery products are specified / purchased by your target end user markets.

Your key deliverables:

  • Delivering business growth, which will be underpinned by a drive to succeed in sales

  • Meeting your customers requirements

  • Prospecting for new customers

  • Ensuring that the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH; Eaton’s Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as National guidelines and procedures

  • Dealing with customer disputes, complaints and quotes professionally

  • Suggesting innovative ideas, to constantly keep the team moving forward, ahead of the market, ensuring maximum turnover and profiAchieving a set sales target and a set margin level

  • Continuously monitoring and improving the conversion rate of quotes to orders

  • Responsible for achievement of economic, quality and customer service



Do you have?


  • Degree Level or equivalent, preferably engineering or business related would be beneficial or proven industry experience

  • Proven track record in sales roles

  • Knowledge of Emergency Lighting and Central Battery Unit products would be advantageous

  • Good communicator, able to work well with others, able to plan, organize and priorities
