Eaton’s Golf Pride is currently seeking a Material Controller to join our team. This position is based at our Pinehurst, NC office.

Position Overview:

Golf Pride is a world leader in golf grip manufacturing.  Golf Pride develops and manufactures golf grips for Retail and OEM customers in its two owned and operated factories. This critical technology position supports that process and is located in the Rapid Innovation Center (RIC) in Pinehurst, NC. The Materials Operator will support material preparation, inventory management, material testing and material data transposition.

In this function you will:
  • Perform material weighing, mixing and sheeting as necessary to support product development.  This includes color development as well as paint mixing.  

  • Accurately and consistently test rubber materials using a variety of diagnostic equipment such as RPA, Durometer, SPG and Stress Strain.

  • Organize data in a standardized report.

  • Maintain Material inventory on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Adhere to 5S best practices.
  • Crosstrain in molding and grip finishing.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Two years experience in a laboratory or production environment.
  • Basic Skills in Excel and Outlook, Ability to follow standard operating procedures and be adaptable to change.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pinehurst, NC will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Certification on the 2 roll mill or calender mill
  • Previous work in custom compounding or rubber development environment
