Business Process Analyst

Job Description

Eaton’s Lighting Division has an opening for a Business Process Analyst. The position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility.  

 

Position Overview:


The primary function of the Business Process Analyst role is to utilize financial and operational data to investigate, identify, and develop continuous improvement activities pertaining to customer financial disputes.  The Analyst will work closely with the finance and functional business teams to scope and execute the improvement projects. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail and process improvement oriented, has an aptitude for problem solving, can effectively manage multiple projects/priorities, strong excel skills with the ability to work with and manage large amounts of data, and demonstrates the drive and people capability to deliver results within a global, growing, and profitable business.  Candidates must be able to flex with changing priorities and aid other members of the business process improvement team on various projects.

In this function you will:

 
 
  • Analyze data specific to pricing and warranty to determine factors driving performance variance
  • Investigate and review specific transactions with functional team to identify process gaps

  • Evaluate data and reason code gaps to make recommendations for future state documentation processes

  • Lead cross-functional brainstorming discussions with internal teams and suppliers to develop process enhancements

  • Monitor and report out on the status of process improvements, develop countermeasures for any activities that are behind target

  • Automate reporting process in B/W (SAP) and excel to provide on demand status updates

  • Cross-train with team members to build skills and experience across the business process improvement, finance, and pricing teams

  • Develop process evaluation and root cause investigation standards that can be applied to additional work streams

Qualifications

Basic (Must Have) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering from an accredited institution is required.

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service, pricing, data analysis, or financial experience.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.  Only candidates within a 50 miles radius of Peachtree City will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous exposure to Six Sigma problem solving methodology.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with warranty processes.
