This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Provide Operational support of Eaton’s Enterprise Network Infrastructure. Analyst Network provides "Follow the Sun" support of solutions, based on Engineering and adheres to standards for LAN (Wired and WIFI) / WAN engineering, MAN, & network equipment that services all Eaton locations globally.

  • Provide guidance and Network Support WAN, LAN (wired, wireless) network, VOIP based business requirements and based on Eaton Network Engineering standards

  • Provide support Management with AT&T GCSC and Cisco TAC

  • Responsible for assigned incidents, requests, changes as well as tasks assigned and meeting service level agreements for those ticket types

  • Participate Support reviews with Delivery

  • Support with global virtual teams and Problem Resolution Incident team

  • Adhere to all Enterprise Security standards

  • Support availability by maintaining current versions, Patches, firmware releases and vendor suggested improvements

  • Supports, confer and partner with sites on WAN, LAN performance for all Eaton facilities

  • Follows and promotes all Eaton Support processes

  • Provide support activities of acquisition and divestiture activities related to network support

  • Basic Understanding VOIP technologies            

  • Consistently utilize key ITIL processes to solve complex infrastructure issues with excellent troubleshooting approach while working under minimal supervision.

  • Provide operational support for all types of Network infrastructure issues, service requests and change control while working with various support teams to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner and also ensure the systems are current and under maintenance.

  • Acts as a focal point for organizing a technical team, driving resolution, communicating status and escalating to customers, suppliers and IT management as necessary during critical, high impact incidents.



  • Education level - Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent)
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Technical knowledge –
  • Basic Knowledge of LAN Networking concept
  • Basic Knowledge of Wide Area Network technologies 
  • Knowledge of Networking monitoring and support tool
  • Basic knowledge Wireless Concept
  • Basic Network Troubleshoot concepts
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to relate well with people at all levels of organization
  • Demonstrates accountability, passion and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work on tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong ethics and values
