Eaton’s Lighting Division has an opening for a Web Content ManagerThe position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility. 

 

Position Overview:

 

The Web Content Manager supports all aspects of website activity for the achievement of business objectives, increased profit and market share, and increase search relevance for Eaton's Lighting division. The website manager will be dedicated to exceptional user experience, ensuring that the customer web experience is relevant, concise, search engine optimized, and visually compelling to encourage engagement/return.  This function is accountable for the build of the new website and will assist with the existing Lighting website as required.

In this function you will:

  • Support the build of the new Lighting website in AEM 6.4.

  • Support for content/webpages for our lighting company, educational, resources, services, careers and related verticals.  

  • Development and migration of microsites, as well as assist with supporting the existing website. 

  • Collaborate with marketing, product brand, and design teams to develop site content, style and appearance.

  • Liaison with content providers to ensure brand consistency and maintain web content standards. 

  • Document clear requirements and specifications for development. 

  • Support website analytics, metrics and SEO strategy. 

  • Awareness of current industry trends in digital content marketing & strategy.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution AND Minimum 2 years of related experience in developing and managing digital/web content OR Associate Degree from an accredited institution AND Minimum 5 years of related experience in developing and managing digital/web content.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Adobe Experience Manager 6.4 and 6.5 required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience and proven proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.  Only candidates within a 50 miles radius of Peachtree City will be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with integration of Master Data Management systems   

  • CSS, HTML and JavaScript experience

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator). 

  • Applied knowledge Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics.

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital content best practices, including SEO, usability, and user experience.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills. Intermediate Excel proficiency.

  • Performance driven and results oriented; takes initiative and demonstrates follow through.

  • Detail-oriented, with strong planning, organizational and communication skills.

  • Awareness of current industry trends in digital content marketing & strategy and a drive to explore new methods.

  • Must be a self-starter with energy enthusiasm towards a team environment.
